1. Who we are

This website (appsbymarian.dk) is operated by Apps by Marian, a sole proprietorship owned by Marian Vrtik, registered in Denmark under CVR number 46671872, based in Horsens, Denmark. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact: marian@appsbymarian.dk.

2. What data we collect

This website does not use analytics, tracking scripts, or cookies. We only process:

• Standard server logs. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub's servers automatically log technical information about each request (such as IP address, browser type, and request time) for security and operational purposes. We do not have access to this data ourselves; see GitHub's Privacy Statement for details.
• Information you send us directly. If you email us (e.g. via the contact link), we receive whatever information you choose to include, such as your email address and message content.

3. How we use it

We use the information you send us solely to respond to your message or inquiry. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where you contact us directly, we process your information based on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries you have initiated, and, where applicable, in taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

5. Data sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties, except where necessary to operate this website (our hosting provider, GitHub Pages) or where required by law.

6. Data retention

Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to address your inquiry and for any legitimate follow-up, or as required by Danish bookkeeping law where correspondence relates to a business transaction.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or request restriction of processing
• Request data portability

9. Apps

This policy covers appsbymarian.dk only. Apps published by Apps by Marian (such as PadFlip and SoundSketch) have their own privacy policies, linked from their respective App Store listings once published, describing any data processed within the apps themselves.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
